Digitalisation for mid-sized firms: portals & prototypes
Client, team and supplier portals – as a clickable prototype in days. I translate your workflows into software: portals, configurators and cockpits that your staff and customers understand straight away.
What it is about
Process digitalisation for mid-sized companies means translating workflows that run through email, Excel and phone today into end-to-end software: client, supplier and team portals, configurators and cockpits on one shared data foundation. Unlike introducing off-the-shelf software, it maps your own process. A clickable prototype with real workflows and roles serves as the basis for the decision before anything is invested in implementation – instead of a requirements spec that few people in the company read. Everyone involved sees early on what their future work will look like.
This matters for mid-sized companies now because skilled staff are scarce and customers expect fast quotes and transparency. Yet many digitalisation projects fail: off-the-shelf software does not fit the process, requirements specs take months, and in the end the result convinces neither management nor staff. Often money goes into technology too early, before it is clear whether the solution works in everyday use and pays off economically. So email and Excel remain the real system, patched with isolated tools that share no common data.
I have built 14 client prototypes across more than ten industries – including sheet metal, mechanical engineering, plastics and insurance. After one to two days of process capture, a clickable prototype with realistic data is ready in about ten days. In week three you get an ROI presentation and a fixed price for implementation; after that I build the production system in sprints, connected to ERP and CRM. It runs on the same architecture as my seven AI SaaS products. I check funding programmes in the first call.
Who it is for
- Managing directors of mid-sized companies whose quotes and orders run through email and Excel
- Manufacturers that need configurators with real costing logic
- Companies whose process is not covered by off-the-shelf software
- Decision-makers who want to see a clickable result before investing
Sound familiar?
- Quotes, orders and queries run through email and Excel
- Off-the-shelf software doesn’t fit your own process
- IT projects take years and convince nobody in the end
What you get
- Clickable prototype with your real workflows
- Client, supplier and team portals on one data foundation
- Configurators with manufacturing and costing logic
- ROI presentation for the internal decision
- Implementation plan for production use

Why I can do this
14 client prototypes across more than 10 industries
Approach

Together with your people, on site or remote.
- 2Days 3–10
Prototype
Clickable, with realistic data and roles.
- 3Week 3
Decision
ROI presentation and a fixed price for implementation.
- 4from week 4

Why I can do this
- Sheet-metal configurator with unfolding and DFM checks
- Two cockpits for an insurance group

A configurator with real manufacturing logic
Quotes for sheet-metal parts were calculated by hand and took days. The web configurator computes geometry, unfolding, DFM checks and costing directly in the browser, alongside client and team portals. Feasibility and price appear in real time – as a clickable prototype and the basis for the implementation decision.

Questions & answers
Why a prototype instead of a requirements spec?
Because everyone in the company understands a clickable prototype. Decisions are made in days, not months.
Which industries?
Among others logistics, mechanical engineering, plastics, automation, insurance, law, trades and coaching.
Is funding available?
There are funding programmes for consulting and digitalisation. I check in the first call what applies to you.
What does a prototype cost?
I offer the prototype at a fixed price that you know after the first call. After the ROI presentation in week three, you also receive a fixed price for implementation. That way you decide with a clear budget before any larger investment.
What do we need to prepare as a company?
Mainly time from your experts: one to two days for process capture, on site or remote. Sample documents such as quotes, order forms or Excel lists help fill the prototype with realistic data. No requirements spec or IT specification is needed.
